We've been building toward this for a while. And now it's here.
Rootabl 3.0 is live — and it's the biggest update we've ever shipped. New features across the entire affiliate program lifecycle, a growing list of platform integrations, and a few things people have been asking for since day one (Zapier, we hear you).
But before we get into the features, a moment to just say: Rootabl isn’t just an app any more, it’s a phenomenon.
More than 5,000 businesses are now running on Rootabl. We've tracked almost 40,000 affiliate sales and nearly $10 million in affiliate revenue. And maybe best of all, we've distributed $4.3 million in affiliate commissions and payouts — real money, in the hands of real people who shared things they believed in and got paid for it.
That's the whole point. And we're just getting started.
Everything in Rootabl 3.0 was built around a simple framework we call the Cycle of Profitable PartnershipsTM. Over the course of working with hundreds of clients and hundreds of launches and working with thousands of affiliates, I just saw this system working over and over and over again.
The cycle has four phases:
Every feature below maps to one of these phases. Because if your affiliates are effective — if they're having fun and sharing things they care about and getting paid — that's a win for everyone.
First impressions matter. Not just yours — theirs too. When a potential affiliate lands on your campaign page, what they see shapes whether they say yes.
You can now require affiliates to apply before joining your campaign. Customizable application forms let you ask for what actually matters — how they plan to promote, their goals, their mailing address. You'll get an email notification when a new application comes in, and you can accept or reject applicants right from your dashboard.
The instant join link option is still there if you want it. But for programs where the right fit matters, the application process gives you real control.

Your campaign pages now look like you. Upload a campaign image, customize your color highlights (including custom hex codes), and add your business logo. Small details, big difference — especially when you're asking someone to represent your brand.
We’ve also added a way for you to link to your own custom affiliate terms and conditions so that all your programs are legally covered exactly the way you want.
Getting affiliates to say yes is step one. Getting them to actually promote — confidently, in their own voice — is where most programs stall. These features are built to close that gap.
You can now add unlimited promo links so that your affiliates can share every page that matters: sales pages, webinars, landing pages, guides, you name it. And here's the part that saves a lot of headaches: you can change the destination URL on any link without breaking the affiliate links that are already out there. So if a blog post or social post is live with an affiliate link and you need to redirect traffic somewhere new, you just update the destination. Their link still works, and their click data is preserved.
You can also archive links you're not actively using — keeping your dashboard clean while holding onto the history. (Plus, any sale that comes in through an archived link is still appropriately attributed.)
The promo area itself is fully editable. Swipe copy, graphics, campaign dates, offer details, testimonials, commission info — you can build it out exactly how you want, and your affiliates see it all in their portal, along with all their data on leads and sales.
Speaking of portals, not every campaign needs every tab. If you're running a sales-only program with no lead tracking, you can hide the leads tab entirely. If you're tracking leads but not paying commissions, you can surface leads and hide the commissions view. Your affiliates see what's relevant — nothing more, nothing less.

We’ve also added two options when you need to adjust an affiliate's status:
Disable stops new attributions but keeps existing payment plans running. So if someone referred a customer on a payment plan, their commissions for that payment plan continue — they just won't receive credit for new sales.
Remove stops all future attributions, including payment plans. It's a more complete clean break.
Both are reversible. You can re-enable or add back affiliates whenever you need to.
This is my favorite part — "the summer energy" of the flywheel — when affiliates are live and promoting and results are building. These features are built to help you (and them) make the most of it.
This is one of the features closest to our hearts, and one of the things that makes Rootabl genuinely different.
When someone clicks an affiliate link and fills in their email address — for a webinar, a quiz, a guide, anything — that lead is tracked. Your affiliates can see exactly who's raising their hand and showing interest. Which means they can follow up personally, with context. "Hey, I saw that you signed up for this webinar. Clearly you're interested in this product. Do you have any questions? How can I support you?" That's a different conversation than a generic follow-up blast.
One important note: for leads to appear in a specific campaign's leads list, you need to tag the URL. Everything is tracked in the backend regardless — but tagging is what makes it visible to your affiliates in the portal. If you're not sure how to set this up, just reach out. We walk people through it all the time.
You can also now send emails directly to all affiliates in a campaign, right from your Rootabl dashboard. Use smart fields (affiliate name, campaign name, business name), include promo links automatically, and choose from pre-written templates — a thank you note, easy promotion ideas, a reason to share now. This makes it easier than ever to support your affiliates at every stage of the game.
You can also customize the automatic welcome email affiliates receive when they join your campaign (or toggle them on or off). It now includes your campaign image at the top, so it feels like it came from you. Because it did.
Every email you send is logged, and you can see exactly who received it.

Brand new in 3.0 (and one of our most requested features): you can now add custom bonuses for individual affiliates. Leaderboard winners, milestone hits, contest prizes — add the amount, a note about what they earned, and it shows up in your reports — and in their payout, automatically. A small thing that makes appreciation feel real.
This one has been on the list for a while. Zapier is finally here!
Businesses can now trigger automations for affiliate applications, new affiliates, new leads, new sales, and new payouts. Tag affiliates in your CRM when they join. Fire off a follow-up sequence when a lead comes in. Track everything in your own systems in real time.
Affiliates get their own Zaps too — for leads, sales, and payouts. Which opens up some genuinely exciting use cases: an affiliate could automatically follow up with every lead that came through their link, personalized to the specific thing that lead signed up for. That's a level of support that actually moves the needle.
Appreciating your affiliates so they come back for more. That's the whole game. So we’ve added some new features to make it easier and more customizable than ever.
We’ve got two modes for affiliate commissions: Standard and Advanced.
New in 3.0: we’ve also added commissions that change over time, in up to three stages.
So for a membership, for example, you could offer 90% commission in month one, 20% for the following year, then 0% after that. Built specifically for subscription products and recurring offers, this really is a game changer if you want to incentivize affiliates differently for that first sale versus ongoing payments.
One thing Rootabl is known for is the fact that we handle all your payouts for you. The three-Wednesday schedule:
You can customize your refund window, choose who covers payout fees (your business or your affiliates), and set a holding period if needed.
This is such a game changer for businesses who were doing payouts manually before. Consider you (or your team member’s) hourly rate, then multiply that by how many hours of work you do each month to do affiliate payouts.
Compare that to the price of Rootabl and we think you’ll agree it’s a huge return on investment.

For those "I forgot to use your link" moments: Business owners can search any sale by customer email or name and add or adjust a commission manually — as long as the payout period hasn't locked. It's a small thing, but it's the kind of thing that keeps affiliate relationships intact.
Rootabl has always been platform-agnostic by design. Most platforms are really limited to the one thing you're using, but we can track across all the different parts of your tech stack. It’s something that has always set Rootabl apart from built-in affiliate programs — and in 3.0, we've added a lot more.
Rootabl now integrates directly with:
Worth noting: Kajabi, SamCart, and ThriveCart work on both sides — as platforms and as payment processors. If you're running your business end-to-end on one of those tools, we've got you covered in both places.

For tracking leads, events, and activity across your funnel, Rootabl now connects with:
We're adding more integrations regularly. And if your platform isn't on this list yet? Our team (actual humans, not a bot) can walk you through setting up a custom code snippet to get things tracking. Just reach out at hello@rootabl.com or use the chat inside the platform and we’ll help you get set up.
3.0 is live, but we're not slowing down. Here’s what we’ve got planned for the near future:
In the meantime, join the Rootabl Ecosystem Facebook group to connect with other users, share what's working, and stay ahead of what's coming.
We're just getting started. I do feel like we're at the starting line despite all these years and despite all this growth and despite the millions that have already been created and tracked.
And I hope that’s how you feel about it, too.
If you're already on Rootabl, log in and explore what's new.
If you've got questions about any of these features — commission filters, leads setup, integrations, anything — our team is in the platform chat and at hello@rootabl.com. We actually read these.
Let's build something.
